"Events" date on web414 is displaying the week day wrong.

A Bug Reporting:

I posted an event on web414.com, and chose "20 November 2008" as the date. Then, when I viewed the event, it says the event is on Wednesday, when the 20th is actually a Thursday.

Date Bug

Pete, No, I did not edit it, I left it as is.

The page that it is show the date incorrectly is on the "Events" page. Visit: http://www.web414.com/event

You'll see on that initial view, it says "Wednesday November 20, 2008". It does not display "Wednesday" on any other view. Only that default view. The 20th, as I've said, is actually a Thursday.

Not for me...

I tried it logged in, and not logged in, and it shows "Thursday November 20, 2008" for both.

What browser are you using? Are you logged in when you see this?

Fixed?

Well that's weird... Things look correct for me. Did you change it afterward, or does it still look wrong.

you fixed it! good stuff.

Pete,

Good catch on the "time zone" issue. I have confirmed, and you have indeed fixed the issue from what I can see on my end.

See you on the 8th at 414 meeting.

Pete, I'm using Firefox and

Pete,

I'm using Firefox and Safari to view the page.

I sent you a screenshot just now, to your email, of the problem found at: web414.com/events

(For example, it shows the day as "Wednesday January 8, 2009", but the date I chose for the event is a Thursday - the 8th)

It only shows incorrectly when visiting the default page at web414.com/events/
