First time posting, so I thought I'd post here, and say hello.

My name is Larry.
I was at the C2 meetup Aug. 22, so that was how I found this place.
Been hanging out on foums for many years.
From flashkit, to wow-factor.com, and the forums at swishzone.com.
Been doing a lot of practicing on the kirupa forums as of late, working on my flash/xml skills.

I would like to attend the next meeting, but I may not be able to, due to the financial crunch over here. We shall see.
This is one big reason for my attendance of the last meeting. Thought I would try to get to know some of the folks in the biz, and see what work comes of it.
I do have some skills.

Yeah, the forum isn't too active. Some of use Twitter or Pownce or email or the rest of the site to communicate. But the forum is always here if needed.
Web414 was originally the "Milwaukee Web Design Meetup" I showed up in Summer 2005, and by the end of 2006 we left Meetup and spun off into Web414. (Since then a former member revived the Milwaukee Web Design Meetup, so that group does exist again, and we've invited them to join us, some have...)
Many of the Web414 members are very involved in BarCamp's as well as other tech initiatives in the area.
